We are nearing completion of a social strategy, and have begun working on the platform for the launch of a new media company and website, which will be used to publicize and launch the Peace Prize.

We are legally incorporated as a not-for-profit corporation in the state of Florida operating under the registered name of "The Peace Prize Charitable Trust, Inc." dba "Peace Prize Foundation." dba "The McGill Peace Prize Foundation." We are issued license by the state operating under the regulatory ID# H12000075247-3 in good standing.

Persistence pays off. After 5 years of negotiations, Bryant McGill makes a financial offer and acquires peaceprize.com and peaceprize.net domain names to be used by the forming international foundation.

Throughout the years while attaining Treaty signatures, Bryant continued to work with a mediator to broker a deal for acquiring PeacePrize.com.

In 2008 Bryant McGill meets with Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Don Cheadle, Susaye Greene, Ray Romano, Montel Williams and Jason Alexander, and asks them to sign-on to the official Goodwill Treaty launch. Everyone signed it in person and that was the first day of the launch of a prolonged publicity and awareness campaign.

In 2007 Bryant McGill conceived the Goodwill Treaty for World Peace and begins organizing and conceptualizing the project, which consists of the Treaty and a Peace Prize award. The Goodwill Treaty is a statement of intention which is meant to be simple, fun and to provoke thought and dialogue. Thinking about, talking about and stating an intention for peace are obvious first steps toward peace. The objective is to spread the values of peace, healthy communication skills, anger management, conflict resolution and personal diplomacy — otherwise known as manners.
